Calvin Harris’ much-discussed new single “Olé,” rumored to be about ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s new relationship with Tom Hiddleston, dropped today.

TMZ reported on Thursday that the collaboration with singer John Newman waswritten in response to the ch-ch-ch-changes in Harris’ relationship status of late ― the media phenomenon known as Hiddleswift.

With lyrics like “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend / Being attentive, continue to pretend,” it’s not hard to see how the song might be connected with the couple’s highly publicized split.

But, according to US Weekly, interpreting the single through Swift-colored glasses is a fools’ errand, as “Olé” was reportedly written before Hiddleston was ever in the picture.

“People are just making assumptions to get attention for a song,” a source told the magazine. “There’s no way it could be about Tom.”
