The show will launch a national tour and make its international premiere in the Netherlands.

Gloria Estefan’s On Your Feet! is stepping down from Broadway.

The musical, based on the life and music of the seven-time Grammy-winning Latin pop sensation and her producer-musician husband Emilio Estefan, will play its final Broadway performance at the Marquis Theatre on Aug. 20. It will have played 746 regular performances and 34 previews.

The production is set to kick off a national tour Sept. 22 in Buffalo, N.Y., with stops scheduled in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco and Washington, among other locations. It also will make its international premiere at the Beatrix Theatre in Utrecht, Netherlands, on Oct. 29.

On Your Feet!, starring Broadway newcomer Ana Villafane as Gloria, followed the Estefan couple’s journey from Cuba to Miami, as they generate a string of smash albums and international hit songs, including “Conga,” “1-2-3,” “Music of My Heart” and “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You.” Directed by Jerry Mitchell from a book by Alexander Dinelaris, the well-reviewed show opened in October 2015 and received a Tony nomination for its choreography by Sergio Trujillo. It is produced by James L. Nederlander, Estefan Enterprises and Bernie Yuman.

Box office started out strongly and remained robust for much of the show’s first year, but has dipped in recent months, pulling just 45 percent of its gross potential last week. The production’s cumulative haul after 86 weeks is $74.5 million.

With an estimated 100 million albums sold worldwide, Gloria Estefan is among the most successful crossover artists in Latin music. Emilio Estefan, in addition to working with his wife, has played a part in shaping the music careers of Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. His work has yielded more than 30 Grammy nominations and 19 wins.

On Your Feet! will have played 780 performances at the Marquis by the time it closes.
