A new rumor indicates that George Lucas will replace Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and launch a new era of Star Wars called the Star Wars Verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rumor comes from YouTuber Overlord Doomcock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock prefaces this new rumor saying, \u201cAs with all of these rumors originating inside Disney and\/or Lucasfilm, I cannot independently confirm what I am about to tell you. So I urge you to regard all of what follows as rumor. And take it with a grain of salt.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kathleen Kennedy Out<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then gets into the meat of the rumor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock explains, \u201cOne of my agents asked one of our informants, \u2018Are the rumors about Kathleen Kennedy leaving BS or is there something to it?’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued, \u201cThe informant replied that \u2018No, it is most assuredly not BS.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy source then asked the question point blank, \u2018Is Kathleen Kennedy gone?\u2019 And the informant replied, \u2018Yes, Disney and Kathleen Kennedy have come to arrangement and Kathleen Kennedy will soon be departing from Lucasfilm,\u201d Doomcock elaborated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then stated, \u201cIndeed, in practical terms she is already effectively out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock then added, \u201cMy source requested details regarding what the terms of this arrangement effectively are, but this informant \u2018refused to elaborate.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kennedy To Join Bad Robot?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Later in the video, Doomcock would discuss another rumor prefacing it saying, \u201cYou should take this with a truckload of salt sprinkled on salt water taffy with anchovies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then detailed, \u201cI have been informed by another source that Kathleen Kennedy is in talks with Bad Robot to begin destroying things for them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
George Lucas To Return?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then discussed another rumor, \u201cThe really big news here is a rumor I received 10 days ago. Disney wants George Lucas to take the reigns from Kathleen Kennedy and save Star Wars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock elaborated, \u201cYes my friends, 10 days ago I received the following rumor from my source. Disney investors have been trying to get George Lucas back for a few months now. Up until a few weeks ago, Lucas would change the subject when asked about returning, avoiding the topic, or responding in a noncommittal way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued \u201cWell about three weeks ago they asked Lucas point blank what would it take to get you on board with heading up Lucasfilm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cAllegedly, George Lucas said this, \u2018If I were to return I have four conditions that would have to be met. Condition 1. I get to make my sequel trilogy. Condition 2. I have full creative power until I decide to hand it off. Condition 3. Kathleen Kennedy is gone. Condition 4. Disney agrees to never ever mess with the original trilogy leaving it untouched.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then stated, \u201cReportedly, Lucas closed out the communication with, \u2018None of this is negotiable.’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then concluded this section saying, \u201cMy sources were told that the response to George\u2019s ultimatum was, \u2018So when do you start?’\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Future Structure of Lucasfilm<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, Doomcock would detail what the structure of Lucasfilm could look like if Lucas returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained, \u201cI am informed the current proposal is George Lucas would be the head of Lucasfilm. Jon Favreau would be put in charge of developing original content for Disney Plus. While a third, as yet unnamed person, would be put in charge of movie production at Lucasfilm.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued, \u201cAll of these people, ultimately, under the authority of Lucas would set in motion a new era for Star Wars, The Star Wars Verse. Not the most inspired name, I know. But that\u2019s how allegedly it\u2019s being referred to internally at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will George Lucas Return?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

However, Doomcock also threw a wrench into the above rumors when he detailed that a separate source told him that Lucas is happy with his life at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock explained, \u201cA brand new source, a source who claims to actually know Lucas, and I\u2019m not going to say anything about this source, tells me that Lucas is happy with his life at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued, \u201cIs he unhappy with what Disney has done with Star Wars? Does it keep him up at night like it keeps us up? This source claims no it doesn\u2019t. He\u2019d like it be fixed, yes. But this source expressed skepticism that Lucas would want that much responsibility at this point in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the opinion of this new source, Lucas might consult, might even write scripts for these new endeavors, but wouldn\u2019t want to be personally involved,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Doomcock then concluded, \u201cWhile on the other hand the source I cited previously tells me Lucas made four conditions for his return and those who were negotiating with him on Disney\u2019s behalf agreed to those conditions and asked when you can start. This other source disagrees.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
