In turn, it becomes the fourth album by a woman to spend at least 300 weeks on the tally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>1989<\/em>\u00a0debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated Nov. 15, 2014,\u00a0and has rarely been absent from the list since its arrival:\u00a0It&#8217;s been on the chart for 300 of the 307 weeks since it bowed. On the new Billboard 200 chart dated Sept. 19, where\u00a0<em>1989<\/em>\u00a0clocks its 300th week, the album\u00a0ranks at\u00a0No. 116.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>1989<\/em>&nbsp;joins&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/adele\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adele<\/a>&#8216;s&nbsp;<em>21<\/em>&nbsp;(482 weeks,&nbsp;the most&nbsp;ever&nbsp;on the chart for an album by a woman),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/lana-del-rey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lana Del Rey<\/a>&#8216;s&nbsp;<em>Born to Die<\/em>&nbsp;(364) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/carole-king\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carole King<\/a>&#8216;s&nbsp;<em>Tapestry<\/em>&nbsp;(318) as the only albums by women to have spent at least 300 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The all-time leader in terms of total weeks on the chart remains\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/pink-floyd\" target=\"_blank\">Pink Floyd<\/a>&#8216;s\u00a0<em>The Dark Side of the Moon<\/em>\u00a0with 950 weeks. It is also, thus,\u00a0the longest charting album by a group.
