When doing press or making social media posts to promote a new movie, some actors get a little *too* excited and forget that not many people have watched it yet. They accidentally reveal spoilers, much to the delight of fans and chagrin of studio heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MCU cast in particular are known for getting spoiler-happy, and it’s not just Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are 24 times the Marvel cast spoiled their own movies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warning: Spoilers ahead for basically every MCU movie beyond Captain America: The First Avenger.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.\u00a0At a press conference two days before\u00a0The Avengers<\/em>\u00a0premiered, Robert Downey Jr. revealed that the cast would be reuniting to film one final scene that very night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At an Entertainment Weekly roundtable<\/a> two days after the premiere, director Joss Whedon told RDJ, “Thank you for having every reporter ask me what we were shooting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Dave Bautista told Good Morning Britain that, after being turned to dust in Avengers: Infinity War, the Guardians of the Galaxy would be resurrected in Avengers: Endgame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It\u2019s comforting, but at the same time I felt a sense of guilt because I don\u2019t know if I was supposed to say anything, and nobody told me not to say anything,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.\u00a0When Zoe Saldana was asked about filming her final scene as Gamora in\u00a0Avengers: Infinity War<\/em>, she said it was “more like a [to be continued].”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She told\u00a0E!, “It felt like see you later, not like a formal goodbye.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, she posted<\/a> a behind-the-scenes video of herself getting into Gamora’s hair and makeup for Avengers: Infinity War<\/em> reshoots. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Owen Wilson told Esquire<\/a> that, after he accidentally revealed he had a mustache to play Mobius in Loki,<\/em> he received an ominous text that said, “Strike One.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said, “I don\u2019t know who that was, we think it might have been Kevin Feige using a burner phone, but that wasn\u2019t confirmed.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.\u00a0Evangeline Lilly posted a picture of the\u00a0Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania<\/em>\u00a0script on Instagram and tagged Corey Stoll, leading fans to speculate that he’ll return as Yellowjacket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She quickly deleted<\/a> the post, but director Peyton Reed told Screen Junkies<\/a> that Yellowjacket “could be somewhere down in that Quantum Realm.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Deciding he was “allowed to say whatever [he wanted],” Frank Grillo told the UFC Unfiltered<\/em> podcast that he’d be returning as Crossbones in an Avengers: Endgame<\/em> flashback scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Back in 2018, Sebastian Stan revealed that Michelle Pfeiffer \u2014 who had yet to appear in any Avengers movie \u2014 would make a cameo in Avengers: Endgame<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There was one scene, I think, we had where everybody was there. I can’t really talk about that scene, but I knew it took them three months in planning this scene to have everyone there,” he told the Independent<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8.\u00a0At the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Elizabeth Debicki revealed that her character, Ayesha, would be a villain in\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said<\/a>, “She enlists [the Guardians] and it’s all going swimmingly until it all turns very, very sour. Let’s just say it goes from amiable to not-so-amiable quite quickly.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9.\u00a0After filming on\u00a0Avengers: Endgame<\/em>\u00a0wrapped, Chris Evans tweeted a final goodbye to Captain America, sparking rumors that he wouldn’t return to the MCU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
