Annie Lennox, a member of the musical duo Eurythmics, marked the 40th anniversary of the group’s hit song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” on Wednesday (Jan. 4). The song was popularized in 1983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s almost impossible to believe that \u2018Sweet Dreams are Made of This\u2019 was released forty years ago! It has continued to travel the world and the seven seas ever since, which is a wonderful and miraculous story all to itself!\u201d Lennox wrote alongside a series of clips from \u201cSongs are like ships\u2026 They have their own particular voyages and destinations.. Once they\u2019ve been launched, there\u2019s no turning back. You just have to follow the journey.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
