As the Rolling Stones continue their Zip Code tour and prepare for the release of a deluxe reissue of their classic Sticky Fingers<\/em> album next week, they\u2019re already making plans for what comes next.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with Rolling<\/em> Stone<\/em>, Keith Richards said the group is itching to get back into the studio for its first album since 2005\u2032s A Bigger Bang<\/em>.\u00a0\u201dJust last week, the word \u2018studio\u2019 popped up while we were rehearsing,\u201d he noted. \u201cI said, \u2018Well, let\u2019s find a time. I\u2019m ready!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

They\u2019re also talking about releasing a home video of the secret show they performed at Los Angeles\u2019 Fonda Theatre on May 20, four days before the tour officially kicked off in San Diego. They played Sticky Fingers<\/em> in its entirety for an audience of about 1,200 fans. Mick Jagger told Rolling Stone<\/em> that the band was especially on that night, knowing that the show was being filmed for possible release.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had to revisit tunes that we don\u2019t do very often, and we had to make sure they worked really well,\u201d he said. \u201cWe worked quite hard on \u2018Sister Morphine\u2019 and \u2018I Got the Blues.\u2019 They\u2019re not actually that easy to do \u2013 it\u2019s not simple 12-bar stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, all of these new plans will most likely be on hold until the Stones wrap up the Zip Code tour, which continues through July 15 in Quebec. After that, they may head to South America in the fall. \u201cI\u2019m looking at what the options are \u2014 we haven\u2019t etched it in stone,\u201d Jagger said, adding that the band has no plans to retire anytime soon. \u201cSometimes at the beginning of these tours, you feel a bit achy. But I\u2019m in good shape. It\u2019s all about avoiding being injured. You\u2019ve just got to watch it and not overdo it, and you should be able to do it for a little bit longer.\u201d<\/p>\n
