The Into the Woods actor has recently taken over CBS’ The Late Late Show, following the exit of previous host Craig Ferguson. Corden will be honored at BAFTA’s Britannia Awards as British Artist of the Year.<\/p>\n
Previously announced honorees at this years HFAs include Ridley Scott, who will receive the Hollywood Producer Award for his work on The Martian, and Danish Girl helmer Tom Hopper, who will take home the mantel of Hollywood Director Award. Robert De Niro, Carey Mulligan, Alicia Vikander, Amy Schumer and Adam McKay will also be honored at the Nov. 1 ceremony.<\/p>\n
\u201cJames Corden is one of the brightest stars on television today,\u201d said Allen Shapiro, CEO of Dick Clark Productions. \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to see what he has in store for the big night.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 19th Annual Hollywood Film Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n
