\u201cHarry Potter\u201d author J.K. Rowling said the boy wizard\u2019s story is finally complete.<\/p>\n
\u201cHarry is done now,\u201d she told the media in London at the premiere of the play \u201cHarry Potter and the Cursed Child,\u201d\u00a0according to Reuters.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we\u2019re done,\u201d she was quoted as saying. \u201cThis is the next generation, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n
The two-part play, staged to be seen on either the same day or over consecutive days,\u00a0depicts the beloved character as an adult with a child of his own.<\/p>\n
As it premiered on stage,\u00a0the script was issued in book form around the world. Many bookstores hosted midnight release parties over the weekend, just as they did in the heady days of Pottermania.<\/p>\n
While Harry\u2019s story may be \u201cdone,\u201d Potter fans still have plenty to look forward to.\u00a0The play,\u00a0written by Jack Thorne from a story by Rowling,\u00a0may not be limited to London.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019d love it to go wider than that,\u201d Rowling said, according to The Guardian.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019d like as many Potter fans to see it as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
There are already discussions to bring \u201cHarry Potter And The Cursed Child\u201d\u00a0to Broadway,\u00a0The New York Times reported.<\/p>\n
The wizarding world is also heading back to the big screen in November with \u201cFantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them,\u201d the first in what\u2019s expected to be a trilogy.<\/p>\n
