Obedience to the Gods was an inviolable term.
\nBut disobedience, was the characteristic of the strengths. Those who fear not to bend the mind and the body. Prometheus, a Titan, that did not hesitate a moment. He lit his love for people. He offered the fire. The price was great. The punishment untold. Chained in the Caucasus peak, suffered every day from the eagle that devoured the innards. The soul is crushed in matter. The body could not be released. But what mattered was? He saved the people. He offered them the \u201cdivine fire\u201d, the logic, the arts. He knew his punishment from the beginning, and had the gift of clairvoyance. But for him the light of knowledge had more value than the flesh pain.
\nGiannis Falkonis with his direction calls us to get a closer Prometheus. Studying for years the ancient drama sought the codes of sacred texts and listened to their deeper meaning. With the use of the archetypal musical of Petroloukas Chalkias and the ancient pentatonic system, unlocks one by one the symbolism of the work.
\nPrometheus revealed from scene to scene. Knowledge becomes the wheel of mind. Breaking the shackles of the priesthood makes people free. Offers the culture. The arts are claiming their space. Prometheus hopes. But the torment is unbearable. He is immortal and his torment will never cease. Prometheus becomes a great mystic symbol. Zeus wanted to destroy the man. He believed that progress would threaten his throne. But Prometheus did not agree. He gave man the fire to open the road. Feel immortality through knowledge. Without the supply of Prometheus any progress and development would be impossible. Not hid like Adam did. Not beg for forgiveness. He knew he did so against the will of the gods, but chose to pay the price alone. Nailed to the \u201ccross\u201d of the Caucasus. But free to taste the air of knowledge.
