These lucky seven\u00a0went on to contend at the Oscars. Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> (\u201cThe Revenant\u201d) and Brie Larson<\/strong> (\u201cRoom\u201d) won at all three awards, prevailing on the drama side at the Globes.<\/p>\n Five of the SAG supporting nominees were also in the running at the Globes (although Christian Bale<\/strong> of \u201cThe Big Short\u201d and Rooney Mara<\/strong>\u00a0of \u201cCarol\u201d contended in lead at the Globes). Of these, all but Helen Mirren<\/strong> (\u201cTrumbo\u201d) made it to the Oscars. While Mark Rylance<\/strong> (\u201cBridge of Spies\u201d) prevailed at the Oscars, he lost at the Globes to Oscar rival Sylvester Stallone<\/strong> (\u201cCreed\u201d) and at SAG to Idris Elba<\/strong> (\u201cBeasts of No Nation\u201d) who was snubbed by the academy.
