{"id":69463,"date":"2017-10-20T18:55:28","date_gmt":"2017-10-20T15:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ngradio.gr\/?p=69463\/"},"modified":"2017-10-20T18:55:28","modified_gmt":"2017-10-20T15:55:28","slug":"spotify-announces-program-identify-break-new-music-superstars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ngradio.gr\/en\/news-el\/music-en\/spotify-announces-program-identify-break-new-music-superstars\/","title":{"rendered":"Spotify announces a program to \u2018identify and break\u2019 new music superstars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"EFzgVK\">Spotify\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.spotify.com\/us\/2017\/10\/20\/spotify-introduces-rise\/\">just announced<\/a>\u00a0a new program called RISE, intended to \u201cidentify and break the next wave of music superstars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"IyuEKO\">The promises of the program are a little vague, but Spotify says its hand-picked artists will be aided with \u201cmulti-tiered marketing\u201d and \u201ceditorial programming,\u201d including social promotion, a special \u201cmixed-media\u201d RISE playlist, \u201cbespoke\u201d videos about their life stories, and some kind of platform-sponsored \u201cexperiential\u201d events.<\/p>\n<p id=\"NFy8PF\">Reached for comment, a Spotify representative clarified that the experiential events will be similar to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pastemagazine.com\/articles\/2017\/03\/how-spotify-is-finding-and-using-its-superfans.html\">Fan First events<\/a>\u00a0that the platform already organizes, using its data to identify an artist\u2019s biggest fans and give them exclusive or early access to tickets. The mixed-media playlist will be similar to the featured playlist Rap Caviar, which has audio and music videos in one list.<\/p>\n<p id=\"vDNwaB\">The first four RISE artists are announced in the post, and indicate that the program is for artists that are already pretty successful, but haven\u2019t quite hit the mainstream.
