In the episode, the final four contestants performed for the judges, with\u00a0<strong>Candice Boyd<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Vincint Cannady<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Evvie McKinney<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Zhavia<\/strong>\u00a0all vying for the title of\u00a0\u00a0iHeartRadio&#8217;s &#8220;On the Verge&#8221; artist.<\/p>\n<p>So who did judges\u00a0<strong>Meghan Trainor, DJ Khaled\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/sean_diddy_combs\">\u00a0Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0pick as their winner? As announced by host Fergie, the winner of\u00a0<em>The Four<\/em>\u00a0was 20 year-old Evvie McKinney.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"cta-1\" class=\"post-content  cta  clearfix\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content  cta  clearfix\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\">\n<p>The show&#8217;s fourth judge\u00a0<strong>Charlie Walk<\/strong>, the head of Republic Records (where the winner will get a record deal), did not appear in the finale after\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/910325\/the-four-s-charlie-walk-denies-sexual-harassment-allegations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">being accused<\/a>\u00a0of sexual harassment\u00a0by a former record company executive. Walk\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/910325\/the-four-s-charlie-walk-denies-sexual-harassment-allegations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">has denied the allegations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Four<\/em>\u00a0just earned a season two renewal from Fox after averaging 3.7 million viewers over its six-episode run. The penultimate episode notched a 1.3 adults 18-49 demo rating, the series&#8217; highest ratings yet. The network also boasts this it is the No. 1 most social new show on TV.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>The Four\u00a0<\/em>is truly a next-generation show,&#8221;\u00a0<strong>Rob Wade<\/strong>, President, Alternative Series &amp; Specials, Fox Broadcasting Company, said in a statement. &#8220;It has pushed past the boundaries of traditional music competition series by focusing on recording artists in an epic battle to become a superstar. And for the winner, guided by music giants Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and Republic Records, this is just the beginning.
