Gimme, gimme, gimme an ABBA<\/a>\u00a0reunion after more than 35 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The legendary pop group announced on Friday that they are set to release two new songs for the first time since disbanding in 1982.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Swedish hitmakers, which include Bj\u00f6rn Ulvaeus,\u00a0Agnetha F\u00e4ltskog,\u00a0Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, previously revealed that they were working on a\u00a0virtual ABBA experience<\/a>.\u00a0This project was apparently so successful the quartet has decided to make music together once again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe decision to go ahead with the exciting ABBA avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence. We all felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio,\u201d they wrote in a statement. \u201cSo we did. And it was like time had stood still and we had only been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!\u201d<\/p>\n
