Former\u00a0Nirvana\u00a0band mates\u00a0Dave Grohl\u00a0and\u00a0Krist Novoselic\u00a0reunited onstage Saturday during the\u00a0Foo Fighters\u2019 gig at Seattle\u2019s Safeco Field, where the duo revisited an\u00a0Incesticide<\/em>\u00a0favorite with a performance of the Vaselines\u2019 \u201cMolly\u2019s Lips.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is an old song, we haven\u2019t done this song together in a long time,\u201d Grohl told that crowd after welcoming Novoselic onstage. The performance marked only the second time Foo Fighters and Novoselic \u2013 whose new band Giants in the Trees opened for the band at Safeco \u2013 have played the cover live together, following\u00a0a one-off rendition in September 2015\u00a0at a concert in Scotland, home of the Vaselines.<\/p>\n Nirvana performed \u201cMolly\u2019s Lips\u201d live nearly 50 times during their existence, and included their version on 1992\u2019s\u00a0Incesticide<\/em>.<\/p>\n Nirvana fans will (maybe) have another opportunity to catch another partial reunion when Novoselic\u2019s Giants in the Trees perform at the Grohl-curated\u00a0Cal Jam 2018<\/a>\u00a0on October 16th in San Bernardino, California.
