Ladies and gentlemen, I have some news:\u00a0Ariana Grande<\/a>\u00a0has officially ended the Beatles.<\/p>\n

Ok, calm down, I’m kidding, but\u00a0Billboard<\/a>\u00a0did announce on Tuesday that the pop singer is the first artist to claim the top three spots on the Hot 100 since the Fab Four did it in 1964.<\/p>\n

Grande’s current No. 1 single, “7 Rings,” is spending its fourth week atop the chart. Her third single from the\u00a0Thank U, Next<\/i>\u00a0album, “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” sits at No. 2, and the title track, “Thank U, Next,” sits at No. 3.<\/p>\n

It’s been almost 55 years since the Beatles singles “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Twist and Shout,” and “Do You Want to Know a Secret” dominated the top three slots on the Hot 100 chart in April 1964.<\/p>\n

No other artist or group has achieved that feat \u2014 until now.<\/p>\n

Responding to the big news, Grande\u00a0tweeted<\/a>, “wait what,” which was soon followed by another tweet that\u00a0said<\/a>, “what the fuck is going on.”<\/p>\n

Grande said she laughed when she first saw the news because she thought it had been made up by fans.<\/p>\n

“Thank u from the bottom of my heart. for so many reasons,” the singer wrote. “First time since the beatles huh. that\u2019s wild. i thought this was a joke when i saw it i\u2019m not kidding.”<\/p>\n
