Mario Frangoulis’ “Tales Of Christmas” out now

Mario Frangouli’s new christmas album titled “Tales of Christmas” has been officially released, including his versions of classical christmas songs like «Panis Angelicus» from «Corpus Cristi», «Ave Maria», Frank Sinatra’s «Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas», Bing Krosby’s «White Christmas», «Jingle Bells» and others.

The album is produced by 6-time Grammy winning maestro Jorge Calandrell‬ and it also includes  three incredible duets that complement the full range of Mario’s vocal capabilities: “All Creatures of Our God and King” featuring international artists ‪‎George Perris‬Julie Zorrilla and ‪‎The Little Musicians Choir‬, world-famous soprano‪ ‎Sarah Brightman‬ (the original Christine in Phantom of the Opera) on “Carpe Diem”, and legendary 4-time Grammy winning mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne‬ on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Other partners on the project include the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, acknowledged as the UK’s foremost musical pioneer, and the iconic Abbey Road‬ Studios where the album was recorded.

One of the songs you can hear in the new album is “Nature Boy”, first recorded by famous Jazz singer Nat King Cole in 1947.
