Sony Pictures’ has debuted a brand new trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse just ahead of New York Comic Con and, once again, the animation is the real showstopper.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is gorgeous — something we knew after a trailer for the film was released in June. The new trailer expands on what we’ve seen, showing us the flowering relationship between Peter Parker (voiced by Jake Johnson) and Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore). Into the Spider-Verse will mainly focus on Parker’s mentorship with New York’s new friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
The official synopsis for Into the Spider-Verse reads:
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verseintroduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released on Dec. 14.
