Legendary rock band Aeroshmith has announced their retirement with a 40-date North American farewell tour, which is set to be one of the most epic and unforgettable tours of their career. The tour will kick off on September 2 in Philadelphia and wrap up in Montreal on January 26, with stops in major cities across the US and Canada.
Aerosmith has been known for their electrifying live performances, and the farewell tour promises to be no exception. The band has assured fans that they will be giving it their all on stage, and that this will be the best show of their lives.
The tour will feature special guests The Black Crowes, adding to the excitement of the farewell tour. Fans can expect to hear all of their favorite Aerosmith hits, as well as some surprises along the way.
However, the tour will be bittersweet for fans, as founding member and drummer Joey Kramer will not be joining the band. Kramer has made the difficult decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus on his family and health. The band has acknowledged Kramer’s absence, stating that his unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.
Despite this setback, Aerosmith is determined to make the farewell tour a memorable one. The band recently wrapped up their Las Vegas residency, “Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild” at Dolby Live at Park MGM, and are ready to take their show on the road.
The tour will also include a special hometown show in Boston on New Year’s Eve 2023, adding to the excitement for fans in the area.
Tickets for the general sale will be available on Ticketmaster.com starting Friday at 10 AM local time. Make sure to grab your tickets and say goodbye to one of the greatest rock bands of all time on their final tour.
