NGradio So good... like you
On January 21, Paul McCartney fans are in for a treat as Paul McCartney’s The Bruce McMouse Show will get a special one-night-only theatrical release. The never-before-seen film “tells the story of how Paul McCartney and Wings came to meet the inimitable impresario Bruce McMouse.”
The film was directed by Barry Chattington with the concert footage shot during four shows in The Netherlands and Germany on Wings’ 1972 European tour. The animated portion features Paul and Linda McCartney, Deryck Guyler, Pat Coombs and Derek Nimmo voicing a family of mice, whose patriarch Bruce ends up on stage offering to produce the band. The movie was eventually shelved after production of the film took five years to complete and Wings’ lineup had changed. Tickets and theater information can be found via this link.
