The Steams present their brand-new single “She’s in Sparkles,” heralding the release of their highly anticipated third album VILE WONDERS, soon to be out via Made of Stone Recordings.

After a brief hiatus, the band returns with a track that captures the nostalgia, melancholy, and maturity that time brings. “She’s in Sparkles” is a ballad that began taking shape five years ago and was completed during the recording sessions for the new album — a slow crystallization of emotions finally finding its voice.

Alongside the release, The Steams unveil their first official music video, directed by Andreas Kokovikas. Shot on a miniDV camera during their first European tour, the video feels like a cinematic keepsake — a hazy road diary filled with fleeting moments. Maria Tzortzatou is responsible for the color grading.

Who Are The Steams

The Steams are a four-piece band from Athens, Greece, blending psychedelic rock with influences from ’60s acid rock and ’70s psych revival. Their sound merges the power and atmosphere of classic rock with traditional Greek instruments such as the laouto, lyra, and tsampouna — a unique combination that sets them apart in the modern Greek music scene.
