NGradio So good... like you
Tom Hanks has expressed his gratitude to a stranger who returned his lost credit card, giving everyone further proof that he is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.
The actor took to Twitter to thank “Tony”, a New Yorker who gave it back after finding it on the street.
The 58-year old wrote: “A guy named Tony found my credit card on the street in NYC and returned it! Tony! You make this city even greater! Thanx. HANX.”

Hanks is well-known for being one of Hollywood’s more approachable stars.
In February it was reported that he surprised a group of Girl Scout in San Francisco when he stopped to buy some of their cookies, donated an addition $20 and offered to have his photo taken with people who recognised him… as long as they bought some cookies as well.
Archana Appanna, whose daughter was one of the Scouts, told the Los Altos Town Crier she was “still on cloud nine”.
“He was so personable,” she said. “So down to earth.”
Hanks is famous for his roles in films such as Saving Mr Banks, Forrest Gump, The Terminal, Catch Me If You Can and Captain Phillips. He recently starred in Carly Rae Jepsen’s latest single ‘I Really Like You’.
