NGradio So good... like you
Gisele Bundchen took to the runway one last time Thursday night for designer Colcci at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
She announced her retirement in March.
The 34-year-old Brazilian supermodel donned three looks at the show, and finished with a photo-op; her family and husband, Tom Brady, 37, watched with pride from the sidelines.
After the show, Brady posted a heartwarming note to his wife on his Facebook page. “Congratulations Love of my Life. You inspire me every day to be a better person. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway,” he wrote. “You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more than you and your beauty runs much deeper than what the eye can see. I can’t wait to see what’s next,” he concludes, “I love you.”
The supermodel is retiring as the highest-paid model of 2014, according to Forbes, and has made more money than any other model in the world. Bundchen has earned $386 million from modeling since her debut in 2001.
The model posted a photo Tuesday of her wearing tee with the words, “The best is yet to come,” appropriately printed on the back. The model is expected to finish her current contracts and continue to new projects.
