Sam Smith’s latest single “Pray,” off his sophomore album The Thrill of It All, just received a massive remix. Featuring Logic, the powerful soul of the original track is given an added flavor by the rapper’s verses. “Will the Devil take me, or will God protect me?” Logic raps.

Smith takes over with the song’s original opening verse, but Logic comes back around with some soulful singing of his own. “Heaven want to cast me out for being me, I know there’s others like me that’ll break the fall…if I’m the first one to the line that’s fine I’ll take it all,” Logic sings over the bluesy strum of a guitar. Sam Smith originally announced the remix on Tuesday (March 27) via Twitter. “I am so excited for you to hear this new version of one of my favourite tracks on the album,” the singer wrote. “It was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with Logic to create this, such an incredible artist.” The Thrill of It All debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 last November. Check out the fantastic remix below and pray Sam Smith has more gems like this in store for us.
